The idea
The future should not arrive here only after everyone else understands it.
Smaller communities are often discussed as places technology will affect, not places that can actively shape, teach, and benefit from it.
Wiregrass Next is being developed as a bridge between fast-moving technology and the real questions facing Dothan and the surrounding region: What work is changing? Which skills will matter? Where can local businesses participate? What should schools, families, veterans, and civic leaders be watching?
The platform will translate major trends into regional signals, practical explanations, opportunity maps, and conversations that make the future feel closer and more actionable.
The goal is neither hype nor fear. It is local awareness: helping people recognize change early enough to prepare, participate, and build.
